ARI - Alpaca Registry Inc

There are currently three types of membership levels; Voting Members, Associate Members, and Alpaca Owners.

Any individual who owns an ARI registered alpaca and chooses not to be a Voting Member or an Associate Member will by default be an ARI Registered Alpaca Owner. An ARI Registered Alpaca Owner may receive notices of ARI Policy and Procedure and Bylaw changes as distributed to Voting and Associate members. All other Registry services are available for a fee. An alpaca owner can conduct all business in regard to their herd, such as registrations, transfers, and authorizations.

Voting Members will receive unlimited free web site searches, receive ARI newsletters, will be allowed to vote in regular or special elections, and may receive a copy of the Policies and Procedures and Bylaws as updated free of charge. Voting in elections is an important role for an alpaca owner as your vote helps to determine the direction of the Alpaca Registry’s Mission, Vision, and Values as we continue to evolve.

Associate members will receive unlimited free web site searches and may receive a copy of the Polices and Procedures and Bylaws updates as published. Other information and materials provided to Voting Members is available for a fee.

No, Alpaca Owner membership is free for life. Voting and Associate memberships have yearly membership fees.

Alpaca Owner memberships never expire. Voting and Associate Memberships run for one calendar year from January 1st through December 31st. Membership renewal materials are mailed every November to all members.
